Teens (Grade 6 & Up)

HERE supports a variety of educational activities throughout the year specifically geared for the middle and high school grades. In addition to serving the educational challenges that arise in teaching these grades, it is our hope that these activities will also foster relationships between the middle and high school homeschooling community.

This is only a draft of ideas to the year. We have many more ideas and are open to your suggestions as well.

    TEEN COMIC OPERA
    November 7, 2007

    Join us for the dress rehearsal of the Pirates of Penzance. Sung entirely in English (thus no subtitles), the truely American Opera is a delight to behold. It's also a lot of laughs. Enjoy an evening at the theater with your homeschool friends.

    Christmas is an amazing time to give back to the community. Stay tuned for plans to help support a local mission during one of their busiest times of the year.

    Many teens have asked to learn more about the basics of website design. Our very own webmaster will be sharing a bit of history, coding, and graphics to give our budding designers a place to begin.

    Join us as we explore the last undeveloped salt marsh in Virginia, Beach on board the Rudee Explorer. We'll also be enjoying lunch together. More Info
