Communicating thru GoogleGroups
Getting the latest and greatest with HERE group activities and events is important. Sharing and discussing between our members is also important. To meet those needs we've joined TWO GoogleGroup email lists. You are added to both lists when you join each year based on the email you used on your registration form. Purpose: To communicate the latest information about the HERE group with our members.
Who can post: Board members and leads send messages to the entire membership through this email list. It is moderated.
Notes: Please remember to keep this email list set so that you can receive the individual emails. One of the important functions of this email list is letting you know any last minute changes to field trips (like cancellation due to bad weather). Changing your settings to daily digest or special messages will disable this function.

Purpose: Did you know that OT stands for Off Topic? This email list is for our members to communicate with one another.
Who can post: Any HERE Member. Just send your messages to here-OT@googlegroups.com. You email will be received by the group as you send it. This email list is NOT moderated.
Notes: The here-OT@googlegroups.com email list is great for:
- sharing community information (i.e. you know of someone starting a homeschool dance team).
- setting up play dates with other members (i.e. Anyone like to meet at Sandy Bottom Wednesday at 9 AM?).
- asking homeschooling questions (i.e. Is anyone else using A Beka? Does you anyone have suggestions for keeping a 6 year old boy not sit still for more than 5 seconds?? )
- selling or
looking for used
curriculum.
- This list is NOT for asking everyone to a home party or for sharing mass forwarded emails. Let’s focus on homeschooling.
